Opening of Studio Fontana at 400 Wellington Street West in Toronto ~ #PR

Lights!  Camera!  Hair and Makeup!  I had a lovely evening visiting Studio Fontana in Toronto that opened this month.  It is a great new space where hairstylist, makeup artist, photographers, and models could gather and create some magic.

It is a great space for people to get together to practice or create something that is wonderful and beautiful.  The studio is set up with all the salon equipment with perfect seating and washing stations.  The photo studio will be always set up ready to be used. I was also surprised to learn there is no fee to use the space.  It is a wonderful space and I could see so many uses for it like holding a small class to having a bridal party having their hair and makeup done all in one spot.

Our Summer is always busy,  There are alot of events and things to do out in the sun.  My daughter has been in the water more times this year than any other years.  Summer is not done yet so there are plans to attend festivals, the beach, and maybe even visit good old Niagara Falls.  When we are out so much I have to make sure my daughters have a good morning meal and pack up some snacks to keep us going.  Kellogg's Vector has a great line of products that keeps us going all day long.

Summer is finally in full swing.  We are out more often - going to parks, beaches, and camping.  Summer is short so I have planned out their summer holidays.  Of course, before we head out I make sure we all have sun screen on.  I gather them up all in a small basket and set it on the stairs that I know where they are.  It also reminds me to put on their sunscreen and lately I am also carrying one in my bag especially if I know if we are gone all day.  Lately we have been using Garnier Ombrelle Ultra Light Advanced SPF 50 Weightless Body Lotion and 100% Mineral Lotion SPF 50+ for Kids.

If you are traveling this summer, you are so lucky.  It has been years since I traveled anywhere.  It has been over 7 years since I sat on a plane.  Most of my holidays are stay-cations.  Maybe one day I will be lucky and someone sends me and my kids on a trip and there are a few items I will be packing in my bags.

July 13, 2015 – The ultimate free family event of the summer, Kids’ CBC Days, is back and bigger than ever. Pre-schoolers, school-age kids, parents, caregivers, daycares and summer camps are all invited to take part in the annual two-day special event, which requires no registration. The fun happens July 29 and 30 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Canadian Broadcasting Centre in Toronto (250 Front St. W.), featuring fan-favourite Kids’ CBC stars Patty and Sid, Mamma Yamma, Bookaboo, Arthur, Daniel Tiger, Super Why!, Chirp, The Moblees and Napkin Man.

Children can enjoy live performances, take part in arts and crafts, games, interactive activities, stop by the green screen digital studio, jump around the bouncy castle and so much more! Vichy Purete Thermale ~ #Review & #Giveaway

I can't believe summer is finally here and school is out.  I was fortunate to attend the Vichy Event to promote their new products they will be launching this year.  One of the product lines was rebranded - Purete Thermale.   I don't know what it looked like before but this new look looks cleaner, calming, and refreshing.

Shout Factory! Young Hercules: The Complete Series ~ #Review

When I received a copy of Young Hercules on DVD I had to smile.  Who remembers young Ryan Gosling?  I forget how young and cute he was.  I recall watching a  few of these episodes when they aired on TV. Young Hercules is a goof ball and trouble always seem to follow him.  With the help of his friends and a little bit of luck he manages to save the day.  I think it is also a great DVD if I want to introduce my daughter to Greek Gods.  It always mentions Zeus, Hera, and of course Aries.  My daughter enjoyed watching this DVD.

The Legend of Longwood on DVD ~ #Review

My daughter and I enjoyed watching The Legend of Longwood.  This movie is a little dark with mystery, evil villains, curses, and a Black Knight.  It is about a girl who loves horses.  Just like my daughter.  Her and her family decided to move to the beautiful land of Ireland.  It is an amazing story about a small town that has been cursed and Mickey Miller, the heroine of the movie that has the ability to break the curse.  It is a touching story how much Mickey loves the horses and she does anything to save them even making a horse  jump that she is frighten to do because it caused her leg injury.  There is a cruel evil greedy woman you will all hate.  You have to wonder how she managed to get away with her evil doings until the very end.  Mickey got her hands full trying to saving the horses and the town from the curse, as well as defeating the evil lady Caitlin.  It is a great movie to watch.

L'Occitane Pivoine Sublime ~ #Review & #Giveaway

Do you recall that I wrote a review on how much I love Pivoine Sublime lip balm? Well, I love it and I used it often over the past few months. I love the scent and it contains 25 SPF to help protect my lips from UVA/B. I apply sunscreen all over my body and I keep on forgetting to apply on my lips.  Now, I don't have to worry getting sun burned on my lips.

The Pivoine Sublime tinted lip balms is a must have for this Summer. It comes in 4 shades: transparent, rose, beige, plum, and red. The lip balm has a great floral scent and I think there is even a hint of cherries.
