The Healthy Shopper Has Discovered a Smarter Soft Drink Swap - Zevia! ~ #Review

I am a huge pop drinker.  I would drink 4-5 cans a day during the weekend.  If you ever look at the calories content there is about 250 calories in each can.  I stick with diet with no calories.  I rather make my calories count.  I rather eat than drink it.

The Healthy Shopper Zevia!

Zevia tastes like carbonated water with a hint of flavour.  My favourite one is the cream soda.  It taste almost like the usually diet cream soda I usually get.  The ginger ale tastes pretty good too.  I would love to stock up on Zevia ginger ale since it is so much healthier and better to give to my kids.  Don't forget to visit Zevia website to print some coupons when you pick a few packs.

Zevia may taste like your usual diet drink but it is 10x alot healthier.  It has no caramel colour and it is not sweetened by Splenda.  It is sweetened by Stevia which is a natural sugar from a little green plant.  If you love your soda pop it is time to switch to Zevia for a more healthier option.

Zevia Solves Soda Dilemma with First Naturally Sweetened Zero Calorie Soda

Fall 2015. This season, The Healthy Shopper has discovered a smarter soft drink swap. Experts at finding ways to “Unjunk your Junk Food,” the health savvy duo of Andrea Donsky, Registered Holistic Nutritionist, and Healthy Shopper co-founder Randy Boyer say “cheers” to Zevia, the first naturally sweetened, zero calorie soda.

Conventional sugary soft drinks and diet soda have come under fire a lot lately. “Now, conscious consumers and concerned parents on the hunt for healthier alternatives, don’t have to pass on soda,” says Boyer. Zevia offers zero calorie, naturally sweetened drinks that are now Non-GMO Project Verified. Zevia is clear and doesn’t contain any caramel color or chemically processed artificial substitutes like aspartame or Splenda found in diet sodas. Zevia is sweetened with Stevia, a little green plant from the sunflower family that is originally native to South America. The stevia leaf is up to 200x sweeter than sugar but has no caloric value or effect on blood sugar levels.

Zevia, your new snack food companion tastes delicious, comes in favourite flavours such as Cola, Black Cherry, Ginger Ale, Ginger Root Beer, and Cream Soda with 11 varieties total available in Canada. Buy it at Safeway, Loblaw’s, Bulk Barn, Shoppers, London Drug, Real Canadian Super Store, Sobeys, Whole Foods Market and tons of other grocery, mass and natural food stores at $5.99 for a six pack.
