Yves Rocher's Sérum Végétal ~ #Review

I know when I am old when my body is always having these aches and pains. With my birthday approaching this month I wonder if my body would last until I’m 65. Even though my body feels like I am 10x years older I don’t want my skin looking the same. I try my best to take care of my skin even though half the time it is giving me issues. Lately I have been using Yves Rocher Serum Vegetal’s Wrinkle & Radiance Smoothing Care collection to keep it young and healthy.

Sérum Végétal, the anti-wrinkle star, benefits from the latest Yves Rocher research on Assimilation. For Sérum Végétal, everything stems from an incredible plant: The Ice Plant.
Originating in the South African desert, the Ice Plant is able to adapt to extreme conditions and face anything. It is resistant. It survives. Hence its nickname, The Life Plant.

Yves Rocher's Sérum Végétal

This plant is exceptional and unique. Throughout the centuries and thanks to its incredible capacity to adapt, it propagated as far as Australia, the coasts of the American continent, and around the Mediterranean. This plant has been in France since the 18th century. Since 2008, forever in search of new botanical active ingredients and passionate about their work, the Yves Rocher Ethnobotanists and Phytologists went looking for this Ice Plant and brought it back to their laboratories in La Gacilly and Paris to study the plant and work with it to achieve excellence.

Skin that is revived, with a softer and more refined texture -- smoother with a brighter complexion... By combining the powerful anti-wrinkle action of the Ice Plant with an extract from Oryza (rice), which stimulates oxygenation and recreates cellular respiration, these formulas add radiance to their list of benefits. Fewer wrinkles and more radiance!

I didn’t find a great difference between the Day and Night cream except for the texture. Both creams are creamy and fast absorbing and I noticed the Night cream is a slight thicker than the Day cream. The cream feels great on my skin especially during the cold season. It kept my skin hydrated all day and night long. I found the day cream is too thick and heavy for my skin so I don’t use it often. The night cream is perfect what I need at night. I noticed there is a slight sweet scent that is hardly noticeable. I have not seen any wrinkles on my face so I am guessing it is working. I can’t tell if my skin looks radiant from using the product. The serum feels great on my skin. It has a light texture and it absorbs quickly on my skin. The eye roller ball was hard to use. It was hard to use since it felt like the plastic ball in the tube is always getting stuck.

I also had the opportunity to try Yves Rocher Serum Vegetal’s Cleansing Milk, Radiance Lotion, and the Smoothing Cleansing Wipes. The Cleansing Milk is super gentle on my skin. I am use to harsher cleanser that strips away my natural oils. I love using the smoothing cleansing wipes. The clothes smells great and the wipes feels great on my skin. I use these wipes all the time especially if I am running late. My favourite is the Radiane Lotion. It feels great on my skin. After using it the first time, my skin feels hydrated immediately. I could almost get away from not using any moisturizer. I could see that it could be great to use this summer.
