L'Occitane Iris Bleu & Iris Blanc ~ #Review

I have not decided what to do for Mother’s Day. Usually we take my mother down to Chinatown for Dim Sum. We might do something similar this year. My mom knows that I will give her skin care and beauty products for Mother’s Day. I like to give her the best and I know that L’Occitane carries something she will like. I recall the La Collection de Grasse was only launched a year or two ago and now they will be launching a new fragrance, Iris Bleu & Iris Blanc, a velvety blend of intense blue iris from Grasse and evanescent white iris from the Mediterranean.

The Collection:
Eau De Toilette (75ml, $75)
Body Milk (250ml, $32)
Shower Gel (250ml, $26)
Hand Cream (30ml, $12)
Perfumed Soap (75g, $8)

I enjoy wearing this scent. It is light with a scent of irises. I could definitely wear this to the office. I have to stick my nose on to my arm so I could smell it. So the only way a person could smell it is if they get really close to you. I love using the shower gel. It makes me feeling clean and leaving a light scent of iries. I love to apply L’Occitane hand cream all the time. I love leaving them in my purse. They are usually my favourite hand cream to use. It keeps my hands hydrated. I could see my mom would really enjoy this collection.

Iris Bleu & Iris Blanc is a contrasting flower-to-flower encounter that follows the path of the sun. With the evanescent rise of white iris, the top notes, as transparent as dawn - ascend over the fields of Grasse. The fragrance opens its petals onto the green, fruity notes of black currant and citrus before luxuriating in the intensity of Iris Pallida. The floral heart of Grasse iris, subtly spiced with yland-yland, floats to the zenith after caressing the velvety skin of white peaches. In the trail of Iris Bleu & Iris Blanc, a white must delights in the hot/cold contract of the twin flowers and gives the last word to powdery accords of iris and the dry scent of cedar.

  4. These products sounds good, I don't know about the scent though, I'd rather have it a little stronger so that I know I'm wearing it :-)

  5. The hand cream seems like it'd be a nice addition to your hand bag.

  8. I love floral scents and haven't really seen a lot of iris fragrances in the longest time. I'm intrigued and will look for this on my next shopping trip.

I haven't tried this line of products but your review has good things to say. Although I do tend to like a little stronger scent than you've described
