Stonz Wear Youth Mittz ~ #Review

When my daughter was younger she hated to keep her mitts on.  When I picked her up from the playground her hands were usually ice cold.  Regardless of which mitts I put on her, she would have taken them off.  This year, she rarely took off her mittens because she was wearing her favourite Stonz Youth Mittz.

A list of the reason why these are great mittens:
  • Back of thumb has a layer of fleece for wet noses she can use to wipe
  • Two adjustable toggles to tighten at the arm and wrist for a custom fit and ensures the Mittz stay on
  • Mittz can be clipped together so they won't get lost
  • Natural curve provides comfort and ease of movement
  • Durable coated water and wind-resistant material
  • Fleece lined with 3M Thinsulate
  • Thumb and palm of the Mittz have a rubberized reinforcement
  • Over arm and toggle system keeps snow and cold weather from reaching the child's wrists and hands
  • Extra wide opening designed to slip on easily over child's hands and outerwear

This is my second review on Stonz Wear products.  I previously reviewed a pair of their rain boots that she loved.  It was very sad to see that she had out grown them.  I am not surprised to discover that she has fallen in love with her Stonz Wear mitts.  She has kept these mittens on and is always picking up this pair to wear when she could easily have chosen another pair.  I love how these mittens are long and go over the arm to reduce the amount of snow going in the gap at the wrist.  They are easier to find than the tiny mittens that I always get.

My daughter loves to use them when she is playing in the snow.  I was amazed at how her hands stay warm after playing in the snow.  The mittens are easy to put on and I love the adjustable toggles that makes sure it keeps the mittens secure.  It makes it hard to slip right off.

The mittens comes in 4 different sizes from 0 months ($29.99) to 8 years old ($39.99) and comes in array of colours.  I have chosen the Fushia - hot pink which I know that my daughter loves.  These are a must have mittens and I wish they have a size for me.  I think it would be a cool idea if the part that covers the arm is more flexible that could go inside the jacket.

  1. These seem to be ideal for children, I wonder why they don't make adult sizes I would have thought that that would be a good market for them too.
