Transformers Rescue Bots: Heroes on the Scene DVD March 18th from Shout! Factory ~ #Review #Giveway

It is always entertaining to watch Transformers saving the day.  This DVD was played over and over again for the past few days.  It kept my girls entertained from start to finish.  My oldest daughter asked me how many episodes this DVD has and I told her five.  She was sad that there were only 5 episodes since she hoped there was more on this DVD.  I know she would love to have a marathon watching Transformers all weekend long.

Garnier Ultra-Lift Transformer ~ #Review & #Giveaway

I love to receive surprises - a good surprise (of course).  A package came first before the email which was a first for me.  The package was from Garnier and I was so excited to see what was inside because the box was so heavy.  I had to stick a USB cable from my computer to the box.  The box was locked and I had no idea what was inside until I plugged it in.  It launched a presentation with my name on it.  That small thing made me so happy.   The presentation described the product and what the box contained.  Then it finally unlocked the box containing Garnier Ultra Lift Transformation - Anti Age Skin corrector.  This was the first time I have seen such an elaborate presentation from a Sponsor.  Good Job Garnier.

Sometimes it feels like I have not left the 80s.  Transformers, My Little Pony, Power Rangers, and now Ninja Turtles...I guess the 80s has the best TV shows we want to share with the next generations.  Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was another of my all time favourite TV shows and I even saw the movie a few times.  We are so lucky to have YouTube having some 80's TMNT to watch with my daughter.  The production felt like I was watching Power Rangers but with Turtles.  It is because it is produced by Saban Brands which also produces Power Rangers.  My daughter enjoyed watching and was shocked to find a female turtle - Venus De Milo.  Named after an ancient Greek statue and one of the most famous works of ancient Greek sculpture. Wikipedia  I guess there was not a very popular female artist during the Renaissance era she could use.  This DVD was enjoyable and entertaining to watch for the whole family.

Muppets Most Wanted ~ #SubwayandaMovie

After another blizzard and temperature dipping below and beyond my comfort zone last week I was worried Spring was not coming.  Luckily, the day I was invited to see the pre-screening of Muppet's Most Wanted, the weather turned out a lot better - the snow was melting!

One of my favourite things to do beside reading on my Kobo and watching anime is going to the movies. There is an interesting movie I would love to watch called Veronica Mars.  If you have been following a record-breaking Kickstarter campaign that ended on April 12, 2013, Veronica Mars was shot over 23 days during June-July 2013. It will be released in selected theaters nationwide on March 14th, 2014.  I found that very interesting since movies usually take months and sometimes years to make.

Who has been counting the days until March 20, which marks the first day of Spring?  I can't believe this is one of the most bitter Winters we had in a long time.  We had one too many days where the temperature dropped where your skin can freeze within 5 minutes standing in the cold.  Plus it was the first time I had a hard time breathing because it was so cold.   My skin is taking a toll in these extreme weather conditions.  I hate to be off guard without any moisturizers by my side.  Lately I have been keeping The Body Shop's Hemp Hand Protector in my purse.

When my daughter started to watch TV I would watch it along with her.  I am always in the same room with the TV so it is hard not to watch what she is watching.  A few shows she would watch were ones I used to watch when I was younger and some are new to me like The Octonauts from NCircle Entertainment.  I had found myself enjoying watching Octonauts and their adventures with my daughters because I was learning about sea creatures which are always fascinating.   We have large bodies of water with so many creatures and I heard we had only discover a small portion of sea creatures and there are more to be found.
