CLUE: A Movie Mystery Adventure from Shout Factory ~ #Review & #Giveaway

“I accuse Mr Green of committing the crime in the Lounge with the gun.” That is right; we all know the classic game called “Clue”. I still have my board game sitting in my closet that I played with my brother back in the 80s. I even sort of remember the Clue film back in 1985. During that era, board games were still popular. We would play them so much to keep us from going out of our minds. This was before we could afford any gaming system and before the internet. It is a classic game of “Who’s done it?” My daughter loves to watch mystery shows and was excited to watch “CLUE: A Movie Mystery Adventure”.

Six very different teenagers – Dimitri, Liz, Lucas, Agnes, Seamus and Whitney – are all enjoying their everyday lives when they witness a dramatic incident. Unfairly accused of creating a hoax, they team up to find out the truth. On July 15th, 2014, Shout! Factory Kids, in collaboration with Hasbro Studios, will unleash the family mystery adventure Clue: A Movie Mystery Adventure on DVD. Join the young sleuths as they work together discovering and deciphering a succession of clues.

Clue: A Movie Mystery Adventure features the beloved characters inspired by the world’s most famous crime-solving board game, Clue. Follow six very different young sleuths as they embark on a mysterious adventure beyond their imaginations. As they work as a team to discover hidden treasures, decipher cryptic knowledge, and uncover a secret society, they learn they have more in common than they thought.

Written by Raven Metzner (Elektra, Daybreak, Six Degrees) and starring Sterling Beaumon (Lost), Sarah Desjardins (Endangered), Kendall Amyre Ferguson, Ana Golja (Degrassi: The Next Generation), Stephan James (Degrassi: The Next Generation) and Zach Mills (Super 8), Clue: A Movie Mystery Adventure will have you on the edge of your seat until the final exciting reveal!

The movie was captivating. Within minutes of watching the movie it got me so interested I could not take my eyes off of the TV. Like any murder mystery, it started off with a murder where a bunch of young teenage kids witness the crime. So the gang which represents the pieces of the characters in the game starts searching for clues to find out who killed the victim. The cast consist of kids from popular TV shows and my daughter thinks one of the kids looks like Harry from One Direction. I think this is a fast paced movie with no lag in the story. It has a simple story line and dialogue that my 7 year old could understand and follow.

The clues that they keep on ravelling kept me on guessing what is going on and wonder what they will discover next. I am trying not to spoil the story but I could let you know as the story continues it gets even more interesting with many twists and turns. This is a must see movie and not to be missed. My daughters and I can’t wait for the next one.
