Juan Pablo Buscarini's Noah's Ark on DVD March 11, 2014 from Shout! Factory ~ #Review

I grew up knowing the story about Noah's Ark.  I was in the Roman Catholic School System and we read the story of Noah's Ark from the Bible.  Back in grade school, one of my teachers played a voice recording of Bill Cosby skit of his version of Noah's Ark.

My daughters have never heard of the Noah's Ark story until now.  The story in the Bible is simple and short but people have their own creative ideas of what they think happened during the trip.  Juan Pablo Buscarini's version may not be realistic but it was very fun to watch.

There was a little bit of action, romance, deception, and plenty of comedy that made the movie enjoyable.  It was pretty funny to watch God and Angel using Noah's journey as their building block to write the Bible.   My girls enjoyed so much that it has been played multiple of times for the past few weeks.  I would not recommend this movie for Sunday Bible Study.  It's not meant to be taken literally.

All Hands, Paws, and Hooves on deck for an adventure on the most famous boat of all time!  Award-winning filmmaker Juan Pablo Buscarini’s Noah’s Ark, which will be released on DVD on March 11, 2014. This is a fresh and funny animated adventure that the entire family will love.

Noah is building a whale of a boat in order to save two of every species from a flood that will cover the entire world.  Pretty soon, animals are lining up to board the Ark two by two.  But as the rain falls outside, trouble begins to brew as the animals get hungry, a pair of stowaways plot to take over the ship and Noah's own family begins to squabble!  One thing's for sure - it won't be smooth sailing on this trip.  But with a little luck and a little faith, Noah will be able to deliver his floating zoo to safety!  Noah’s Ark has received the Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for all ages.

  3. I think this would be a great movie for my grandchildren to watch. When I went to school we heard about Noah's Ark during religion at school, not sure if that still happens or not.
