Arm & Hammer Tooth Tunes featuring One Direction ~ Review & Sweepstakes

I know you have been in my position when we ask our kids to brush their teeth equates to a 10 second brush.  Then I would ask my daughter to try again and half the time I will be brushing her teeth for her.  Arm & Hammer has developed a fun and creative way for kids brushing their teeth and lasting more than 10 seconds.  They launched Tooth Tunes and Tooth Tunes Junior where these toothbrushes would play 2 minuets of popular chart topping tunes while brushing your teeth.

Tooth Tunes collection: ($12.99)
"What Makes You Beautiful" by One Direction
"One Thing" by One Direction
"All Day " by Cody Simpson
"If I Ruled the World" by Big Time Rush
"We Will Rock You" by Queen
"Tonight, Tonight" by Hot Cheele Rae
"Dynamite" by Taio Cruz

Tooth Tunes Junior collection for the ages between 3 to 5
"We Found Love" by Kidz Bop
"Good Feeling" by Kidz Bop
"The Alphabet Song"
"Brush-A-Long Song"

Last week, my family and I were invited to attend the launch of Arm & Hammer Tooth Tunes featuring One Direction.  I think I was more excited than the kids.  When we arrive I could feel the room was full of energy, with the room illuminating from the bunch of rowdy kids waiting to step on to the stage and sing their hearts out.  It was so much fun.  You would not believe how many times I heard the kids sing "What Makes You Beautiful".  There was brunch, karaoke, meeting the host: Adamo Ruggiero, picture taken with virtual One Direction, and a neat swag bag of toothbrushes and toothpaste.

This NEW! Tooth Tunes toothbrush might bring a new following "humming while you brush!"  The tunes from the toothbrush could hardly be heard when you press the button to start it but once it touches your teeth acting like a boom box and music to your ears.

My daughter was very excited to brush her teeth.  She was dancing away while she was brushing.  I told her she can't stop until the music stops.  After she was done she said she can't wait to do it again tomorrow.  Success!  Having her brush her teeth was not a struggle and brushing for at least 2 minutes instead of 10 seconds deserves a mommy victory dance each night.

Do you kids go gaga over One Direction and want to see them in a concert?  Great news!  You can enter into a draw by visiting www.toothtunes.ca/sweepstakes for a chance to win a Grand Prize - a trip to Toronto and two tickets to a live One Direction concert on July 9, 2013 or one of three (3) Rock Star First Prize packs.  The contest runs from April 19, 2013 to June 9, 2013.

The ARM & HAMMER Tooth Tunes One Direction toothbrushes are available at mass retailers like Shoppers Drug Mart, Loblaws, and Walmart across Canada for a suggested retail price of $9.99.

Bourjois Paris: New products ~ Review

Bourjois Paris is one of the brands that is quite new to me.  I don't think I have noticed the brand until last year. Bourjois Paris has a few products that I think they are fun and chic.

First I have to mention is the limited edition temporary tattoos ($9.99) that I think everyone should try out.  If you know anyone who loves tattoos like my daughter this is the one to purchase.  The designs are very pretty and for someone like me, I would wear them during the summer when I am not wearing heavy sweaters.  They look like real tattoos and without the pain.  It took me a few tries to apply it on my arm.  Wasn't sure what I was doing but finally go it right.  It was so easy to take it off too.  I just have to rub it really hard and off it went.

As I mentioned before how I dont have the creativity for nail art but always wanted to do it on my nails.  Bourjois Paris has this easy nail art kit that was so easy to use.  I followed the directions and was so proud of myself.  Since it was my first time, it took me longer than average.  The nail so laque glossy (10ml, $10) I used for the nail art was also pretty.  It was perfect of my skin tone and great for this Spring season.

Bourjois Paris has these pretty baked eye shadows (1.5g, $17) that are pretty and easily blends into the skin.  The vintage shade of sixties-style pale blue eye shadow (17 Bleu Passe) is the newest one in their collection.  I havan't used baby blue eye shadow in years.  The shade has a shimmer and is very light on the skin.  To make it more intense is by using a wet brush.  The eye shadow looks very pretty on my daughter, and she is asking me to put it on her every day.

There are many mascaras I cant use because my eyes are very sensitive and I have found I could use this one without any crazy irritations.  The Ultra Black Volumizer mascara (9ml, $20) is ophthalmologically tested on sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.  This has transformable brush with two settings : Step 1 - "lightly loaded brush for defined volume" and Step 2 - "fully loaded brush for up to 11x more volume, no clumps guaranteed".  I can't tell the difference between the two settings on my Asian eye lashes but might be better on those full lush eye lashes like my daughter - I am so jealous...

I do love Bourjois Paris products and I have heard many great reviews on them.  I can't wait to see what plans they have this coming year.

Bourjois Paris is celebrating their 150 years and is sold exclusively sold in Shoppers Drug Mart.

Yves Rocher: New! Makeup Spring Collection ~ Review & Contest

There are days...ok...many days I have walked out the door without a lick of makeup.  Sometimes as a mom of two trying to rush out the door in time to drop the kids off to get myself going in time for work is a struggle.  The only thing I will always have time for is lipstick.  I'm not skilled enough to put eye shadow or mascara on the subway, but putting on some lipstick is not a problem.

Trying out Yves Rocher recently launched Grand Rouge Lipstick is amazing.  I love the hint of scent it has.  I cant describe it, but I have to guess it must be the Sesame Oil.  I can feel how smooth and buttery the lipstick it.  The texture is more smooth than your regular lipstick.  Grand Rouge Lipstick (3.7g, $19.00, sale $11), comes in 18 intense shades.  Long lasting, creamy and moisturizing lipstick.  Enriched with Camellia Oil, Vitamin E, and Organic Sesame Oil.

I know there are some people I believe should be wearing lip liners.  Sometimes it's great to look like you just locked lips with someone.  But most of the time it looks awful.  Yves Rocher released new automatic lip liner in 5 shades and a colourless one which I will assume would be popular since it would matches with any lip colour.  Automatic Lip Liner (0.3g, $12.00, sale $6.50). Retractable point - always stays sharp after each use.  Prevents lipstick from bleeding and may even last longer.  Enriched with Jojoba oil for softness and comfort.  These lip liners are a must have.  I could easily carry it with me all the time and I dont need a sharpener since it always stay sharp.

I may not have time for makeup in the morning but I always try to find time for my nails.  I usually have them done after the girls are asleep.  All I need is 5 minutes.  I don't have the patience or creativity for nail art.  I doubt it will last long on my nails. Simple is how I like them.  Yves Rocher NEW! 3 colours launched is ideal colour for this Spring.  Nail Lacquer (5.5ml, $9, sale $5), three new shades (Nude Rose, Sumptuous Pink, Powder Mauve) I love the colours they come in cute slim little bottles.

I know Mother's Day is coming up and like my mom, she loves lipsticks.   I know she would love Grand Rouge lipsticks.  I think Yves Rocher Grand Rouge would be ideal present I might get for my mom.

These new makeup products are available as of April 2013 in all Yves Rocher stores, online, or by catalogue at 1-800-361-2746.

Want to win your own Grand Rouge Lipstick?  They are running two contests.  Head over to their Facebook page and their Pinterest page to enter.

dippity-do:Colourboutique - Color Gel ~ Review

I have been watching anime since I was in grade school - so that is a long time.  Many times one of the characters would either have pink, purple, or blue hair.  I am obsessed with anime and many times I have wished I could dye my hair in one of those funky colours.

I'm guessing you might refer celebs like Katy Perry or Pink who colour their hair.  But, have you heard of Hatsune Miku.  A Japanese sensational who sings with a human voice but she is really a hologram.  Interesting, eh? She makes me want to have long blue hair.

In one of my yoga classes, there was a lady who attended a class and she has purple highlights. I thought it was amazing and wanted to do the exactly the same.  Unfortunately, I work in a office so  it is against company policy so I have never attempted it to until now.

dippity-do launched Colourboutique, a line of temporary hair colour, that could add some fun into my hair.  It comes in three fun colours, Posh Pink, Purple Power, and True Blue.  It comes into two application: Colorgel, where you comb it into the hair with a mascara wand and the Colorpop is a powder which comes in a egg shell for easy to carry for touch ups on the go.

left - my daughter, right - me

I applied the Purple Power Colorgel on both my daughter and I to see how it turns out on different hair colour.  My hair is black so was a bit hard to see it but on my daughter with her strawberry brown hair it was more noticeable.  I did find it hard to apply the gel on my long course hair but it went on easily with my daughter's fine hair.  I could see my daughter would be using this more than I.  What I like about this product is very easy to wash off with just shampoo.

Available in Walmart Canada April 2013 for a suggested retail price of $6.86 for either the dippity-do Colorgels (50ml) and Colorpops.

Dial's NEW Triple Moisture Body Wash ~ Review

During our Canadian winters I go through more body butters and body lotions than the rest of the year.  I am always looking for products that would give my body the moisture it needs from day cream to body washes.  Even though winter is over (I hope) my skin is still recovering from loss of moisture.  I will still continue using products with hydration until the summer months.

Dial launches NEW Triple Moisture Ultra Moisturizing Body Wash (473ml) to battle those uncomfortable dry skin.  This formula has 3X more moisture than regular Dial clear body washes.  It is infused with Shea, Jojoba, & Mango butter that leaves your skin fresh, hydrated and softer after each wash.

I love Dial body washes.  Another of my go to brand when I am purchasing body washes.  I love the scent.  I'm not sure if it is Shea or Mango that I smell.  It's not strong but a nice soothing scent that reminds me that I am in a spa.  The body wash is so creamy and lathers easily and quickly.  A few times I had to remind myself not to squeeze too much because a small amount is enough compared to some brands where I had to use quite a bit.  After the shower I feel clean and refreshed - ready for another day.   I can feel that this body wash hydrates my skin - perfect for all year round especially during the winter months.

I'm not the only one who loves this body wash.  Dial Triple Moisture BodyWash was voted for the product of the year.  This was based on over 50,000 U.S. consumer survey and this body wash came on top. Whoot!!

Dial's NEW Triple Moisture Body Wash is available in stores including Shoppers Drug Mart, Walmart, Loblaws, and Jean Coutu at a suggested retail price between $4.99 to $6.99.

The Body Shop: Spa Fit ~ Review

Its time to get ready for Spring and Summer after many months of being cooped up indoors.  Its time to shape up and looking your best.  The Body Shop introduces their new spa fit firming & toning gel-cream massager.  The gel has 100% natural-origin actives with a built in spa-massager for extra toning action.

It contains:
Grapefruit essential oil - high concentration of vitamin C - lypolitic effects
Lemonpeel essential oil - draining properties
Natural caffeine - draining, firming and sliming properties

The 'palper-rouler' (palpate and roll) technique is a sub-dermal tissue massage that stimulate mico-circulation and is though to be highly effective in reducing cellulite

Its is suggested to apply two or three times a week

Step 1 - turn it on
Step 2 - move in circular motion from top to bottom with problem areas
Step 3 - rub the products with your hands to ensure the products is all absorbed

It contains Community Fair Trade organic aloe vera from Guatemala

It claims to make you feel you took a trip to the spa without leaving the house.

I found it very easy to use.  I just twist the massager and then squeeze the tube.  I have to remember to rub it in gently because the massage is not as soft as I thought.  The cream has both a citrus and medicated scent.  Since it is on my legs I'm not able to smell it.  Once I rubbed it into my legs I could feel a cooling sensation.  I have no idea if I felt like I was in a spa since it has been eons since I have been to one.  However, my legs do feel nice and hydrated. After I apply the cream I wished there was a cap for the massager since the cream is all over it.  I guess, I could just wash it off but it would have been nice to have item.  I have only been using this a few times and I bet when I combine this and my daily runs I could definitely see some results.

After the long winter months, your hair has been hidden under your winter hats.  Now it is time to show off your locks under the sun this Spring and Summer.  göt2b launches Oil-licious Opulent Smooth Shampoo & Golden Shimmer Conditioner to help to show off your hair the way it deserves.

Oil-licious Shampoo & Conditioner is infused with Argan, Marula, and White Grape Seed Oil to "give the lightweight manageability and touchable silkiness to even to most" uncooperative hair without the greasy feel.  The shampoo and conditioner's smoothing oil and keratin formula wouldn't weigh your hair down but gently cleanse and condition your hair.  The built in shimmer will add shine to your silky locks.

Oil-licious Opulent Smooth Shampoo
Micro-emulsion technology providing sumptuous shine and touchable smoothness
Improvement of shine more than 100% vs untreated hair

Oil-licious Golden Shimmer Conditioner
Effective detangling while nourishing hair with indulgent care of precious oils
Restoration of dangered hair even before blow-drying
Infused with Mica to impart a delightful golden shimmer

Wow was my first thought when I finished my shower.  I loved how the shampoo easily lathers up and how the conditioner smelled after the shower.  The conditioner left a slight shimmer in my hair so it glistened under the sun.  I wasn't sure there would be any after the shower but at a closer look there is some hidden that would be enough to make my hair all glitz and glam. It left my hair all healthy, clean, shiny, and light weight.  I think this is the prefect combo for this season and I would definitely use this often. Okay, I wish the weather is warmer so I could hit the beach and show off my nice lovely hair.

NEW! Liberte Baby ~ Review

I purchase yogurt weekly just to keep up with the amount of yogurt we consume in this family.  Both of my kids love any type of yogurt that is put in front of them.  There is no whining or arguing trying to get them to finish it.

Liberte has introduced a line of baby yogurt.  Step 1 is for ages 9 months or older which consists of  plain yogurt with a light sweet taste.  It is "made of whole milk and has milk fat contest of 6% to promote brain growth and development in babies.  It also contains probiotics and is enriched with vitamin D.  It has 4 grams of sugar per container, half of which comes from lactose, the sugar naturally present in milk.  The other 2 grams comes from cane sugar, and have been added to eliminate the acidic after-taste of plain yogurt."  Step 2 is for ages 12 months or older made from whole milk and fruit purees which is either strawberry or banana.  It "has a milk fat content of 5%, contains probiotics, and is enriched with vitamin D".

My daughter is 21 months old and I have chosen for her to try the banana flavour first.  It was a success!  My daughter devoured the yogurt in record time and she wanted more of it!  I also gave some to my 6 year old to taste and she said she liked it too!  She said it is very creamy and can taste the banana.  The strawberry flavoured yogurt was also a hit.  Yes, I could see myself purchasing quite a few over the next few months or so.  I think this is a great yogurt if my daughter likes it.  When both my daughters like them, they didn't last long in the fridge.  I can't wait to see what other flavours they might have in the future.  I am rooting for blueberries, one of my daughter's favourite fruit.

The Liberte baby line is sold in packages of four 75g containers and is available in supermarkets across Canada like Walmart and Loblaws for suggested retail price of $2.89.

The Body Shop: Absinthe Collection ~ Review

The Body Shop has recently introduced their new absinthe purifying hand cream to banish dry skin and bad odours.  It is fresh and light leaving your hands clean, refreshed and moisturized.  This collection is triclosan-free and for all skin types.  It also contains Community Fair Trade shea butter which comes from Ghana.

This range's main essential ingredient - the absinthe extract, known as wormwood or Artemisia absinthium.

This collection consist of:
Hand Butter (100ml, $20) - intensely moisturizer that melts into the skin to hydrate dry hands leaving them feeling refreshed.
Hand Gel (60 ml, $2) - cleans the hands without water
Hand Cream (100 ml, $20) - lighter texture to moisturize the hands
Hand Wash (250ml, $10) - this hand wash will thoroughly clean the hands from dirty and bad odours.

I was given the chance to try the hand cream and hand gel - I love them both.  This hand cream is very light and it would be ideal for the upcoming summer months.  It is great item to pop into your purse and take it everywhere you go.  The it has a a light herbal scent that might make you think you were working in the garden or cutting up herbs in the kitchen.  It is light scent so it is not over powering that could be annoying.  I could never have enough of the hand gel since I am a mom of two, I have two pair of messy and sometimes sticky hands.  Always like to carry at least one in my bag whenever we go out.  Try them out if you haven't yet - you won't be disappointed.  *Psst, it would be a great Mother's day gift if you are looking for some suggestions.*

Available online and in store since February 2013

OPI: The Bond Girls ~ Review

In continuing the celebration of 50 years of James Bond, OPI has released Bond Girls, 6 new liquid sand nail lacquer that were inspired by the enchanting ladies in the James Bond's film.

Liquid Sand is OPI latest chic new lacquers that is "textured, matte finish infused with reflective sparkles."  I have mentioned them the past but this is my first time testing them.  The Bond Girls comes in six sexy shades that captures the ladies allure.

6 shades:
Solitaire - diamond sparkling white
Pussy Galore - feminine pink
Tiffany Case - classic light blue
Vesper - deep purple
Honey Ryder - shimmey gold
Jinx - matte coral

To use the liquid sand it was advised it needs a base coat and two colour coat without a top coat.

After trying out OPI liquid sand, all I could think was how neat and unique it made my nails.  This new formula could make any nails fun and chic for this coming summer season.  The texture is almost like the soft beach sand sitting on your nails.  The colour is more definitive and makes my nails stand out more in this new formula.  I love all 3 colours but between them I have tested, I really like how the blue looks, I couldn't stop looking at them.  I could see my co-workers would be impressed with my nails and most likely try them out themselves.

Bond Girls by OPI has the exclusive ProWide brush.  Available in salons and stores that sells OPI beginning of May 2013 for suggested retail price of $10.95.

For more information, check out their website.  Don't forget to follow OPI on twitter and Facebook.

The Bottom Line
Product received - 3/5
The surprise - 4/5 - never received my shipping notification
Favourite product received -  Mereadesso: Lip Treats (always wanted to try it)

Overall reaction - *Sigh* They gave us a pamphlet with "Spring Trends", we don't receive everything mentioned on it.  I wish they did because it was just a big tease.  Seriously, I was pretty disappointed when I received Vichy samples since I know you can get those for free at Shoppers or Rexall if you just ask.  It's not the product, I love Vichy, but paying for the sample is disappointing.  *Double Sigh* The blending sponge reminds me of Sonia Kashuk Sponge sold only in Target (US).  Too bad it was not the Beauty Blender.  At least there was a lip balm (Mereadesso), which I love - maybe it is my addiction talking.  Basing on the box on Mereadesso, Blue Lagoon, and Lancome it is not a bad box.  Two more boxes to go...do I continue with my subscription or cancel...

The surprise - 4/5 - never received my shipping notification
Favourite product received - L'Oreal Paris Youth Code Dark Spot Corrector

Overall reaction - Its not a terrible box.  Lots of full size drug store products. Interested in the Cheek & Lip Tint but use it mostly for the lips.  Really wanted to try the L'Oreal dark spot corrector to see if it really works.  I love coupons.  I wish all beauty boxes would send us coupons.  If we did enjoy the products and want to purchase more, the coupons might encourage future purchases so it could be a win-win situation. OPI: New Matte Top Coat ~ Review

OPI introduces a new top coat that transforms glossy nails to a matte finish.  It creates a fun and unique look without altering the colour.  This makes it more versatile and more economical to embrace the matte nails trend.

The "Matte Top Coat provides sealing protection without shine and protects nails from chipping, making manicures last longer.  with a matte, transparent finish, Matte Top Coat is designed to leave nails velvety smooth and creates a  touchable texture for an edgy appearance."

left - with Matt Top coat, right - without

The matte finished should be applied after the base coat and primary coat.  When I heard about this new top coat I thought it sounded like a neat idea.  I like the matte look but I am not willing to purchase more than a few of the new range.  At first I wasn't sure how it will turn out but ended up very pleased with the end result.  When I first applied it on, I didn't see anything different than a regular top coat but once it dried it turned matte not glossy - like a frosted glass.  I love it and most likely use it often this summer.  I think everyone should purchase this new top coat and try it out for yourself.  I bet you will like it as much as I did.

Matte Top Coat contains no DBP, Toluene, or Formaldehyde.  It includes OPI's  exclusive ProWide Brush. OPI Matte Top Coat will be available April 2013 at most stores that sells OPI across Canada for suggested retail price of $10.95.

Racinne ~ Review & Giveaway

Who is Racinne?
An International Beauty Corporation who developed a range of beauty products that was inspired by a Canadian scientists, Ernest McCulloch on stem cell techonology.  After 7 years they revoluntionize "Callus Cultivation Technology" and "Advanced SH-DP-9 synthesis" in their beauty products.

The "Callus Cultivation Technology" is exclusively for Racinne.  The products is help skin cells to survive and reproduce.  The key ingredients helps skin's natural defense system while it is also preventing the signs of aging.  The "Advanced SH-DP-9 synthesis" is known as an anti-aging agent in their ultimate youth power series.

I had the opportunity to try two products from their ultimate hydra perfection line - Gentle Cleasing Foam and Advanced Luminous Gel.  This line has ingredients to create an antioxidant formula.  These "natural antioxidants repair skin damanged by the harsh environment, facilitates skin regeneration, hydrates and locks in cell nutrients, providing you with an instant youthful radiant glow."

Gentle Cleasing Foam (for normal and combined skin, 120ml, C$20.99) - I enjoyed using this cleasing foam almost everyday for the past two weeks.  It is gentle and it thoroughly cleaned my face without being harsh to my skin.  It does not have a medicated scent and a small amount goes along way.  This is a great product.

Advanced Luminous Gel (for normal and combined skin, 25g, C$36.99) - this is a thicker cream and I have been using this as a night cream.  I could feel my skin hydrated after each night using it.  It absorbes into the skin quickly and I could feel it keeps my skin hydrated during the winter nights because in the morning my face is not dry and irritated.

I also received samples of the Optimal Fortifying Emulsion (50ml, C$25.99) and Ultimate Youth Power Serum (30ml, C$60.99) which I both like.  I used the serum first then the emulsion.  I could feel how my face became hydrated and healthy.  I was thinking my mom would love these products too.  I am thinking this could be a great Mother's Day gift.  She loves skin care products so this would be ideal for her.  I realized these products are made in Korea and I believe my sister in law would love these too.  She is from Korea and she has been continuing to use products from Korea since she moved here to Canada.

Want to try products from Racinne?  You can receive free samples if you sign up for their newsletters.

Marcelle: BB Cream: Golden Glow Illuminator ~ Review

In case you have not noticed from commercials and magazine ads, one of the hottest new beauty products in Canada since 2012 has been the BB Cream.  If not, check it out, you will not regret it.
One of the popular BB Cream is by Marcelle's, which I have heard great glowing reviews on.

Marcelle's BB Cream has 8 multi-benefits
  • Even out skin tone
  • offers immediate and long-term hydrating benefits
  • protects form premature aging and environmental stresses
  • promotes skin regeneration
  • controls shine
  • soothes and calms
  • reduces the appearance of imprefections
  • provides anti-dull radiant complexion
Now, they also released a BB Cream: Golden Glow Illuminator (45ml, $26.95)

This illuminator comes in one universal shade and it contain with golden, light-reflecting pigment that proclaims it "boosts radiance instantly and formulated with powerful antioxidants, aloe, and chamomile".  It is hypo-allergenic, perfume free, and oil free.

This illuminator can be used alone or as a base for your foundation.  It is very light and blends really well on my skin.  I could see a slight shimmer on my skin to make it more brighter and radiant.  Something what every girl needs when going out for a girl's night out or for those mornings from those late night parties.  A great idea I found from Glow was to mix this into your current foundation for more coverage but also give you the illumination on your skin.  It is oil free so it does not make my face greasy or shiny so I could wear this through out the day without having my face feel uncomfortable half way through.  It is a great product.

Vichy: Liftactiv Serum10: Eyes & Lashes ~ #Review & #Giveaway

Back in 2011, Vichy launched LIFTACTIV Serum 10 which is #1 international anti-aging serum where one is sold every minute.**

Many women find the first signs of aging around the eyes.  It starts off with the loss of luminosity then later starts seeing wrinkles, drooping eyelids, and damaged eyelashes.

Did you know: The skin in the eye area is the thinnest from the entire body and the most sensitive.  We blink 10,000 times a day and the skin around the eye is highly elastic and looser than anywhere else from your body.  This looseness is the reason why your eyes will start show to signs if aging.  Damage eyelashes are seen when they are fragile and brittle, less smooth and radiant.  Eventually they will loses thickness and length in time.

This April, Vichy introduces LIFTACTIV Serum 10: Eyes & Lashes (15ml, $45).  It promotes that 1 drop of this serum will give your eyes a new illumination look, lifted contours, and fortified lashes in just one month.  This is the first serum to tackle the whole eye area including the lashes and it is also suitable for sensitive skin and eyes.

There is an application technique to use this serum to give you the best results.  Check it out.

After a certain age I started dreading when my birthday came around.  I have already seen a few signs over the years.  I guess I am a bit lucky since usually Asians look younger than they are.  However, it does not mean I am not self conscious.  Yes, and it is close to my eyes - the usual place.  It is very fitting that my birthday and this product is available in April.  This might be the serum I have been waiting for.

I have to say this is an incredible eye cream.  I could see why women who tested this product would love this eye cream.  Its very gentle on my sensitive eyes and it does seem that my eye makeup lasts a little longer.  I hate looking like a raccoon at the end of the day - maybe it is just me and not the makeup...Hahahaha.  This will be a great product to be added to you LIFTACTIV collection.  This might be the serum that your eyes maybe seeking for.

It is hypoallergenic, fragrance-free formula, and paraben-free.  This will be in your local drug stores on April 4th, 2013.

This is another birthday surprise!  Who is interested in winning their own bottle of Vichy's LIFTACTIV Serum 10: Eyes & Lashes?  One of my reader will receive Vichy's newly launched LIFTACTIV Serum 10: Eyes & Lashes.

The Body Shop: New Eau De Toilette ~ Review

The Body Shop released 8 New! Eau De Toilettes (30ml, $14) just in time for Spring and Summer.  These scents are fun and light, so they are wearable both day and night.

When I saw there was a coconut scent I got so excited.  I love the smell of coconut and it was nice and light.  Then I tried mixing with Shea which has a nutty scent to the coconut and now I have new third scent I could use.  Another scent I also love is satsuma (oranges) scent.  This scent would give me a boost in the mornings that would make me feel more fresh and bright.  The mixing of vanilla and satsuma actually made the scent even stronger - great evening wear for the summer.  Its fun mixing and matching creating a whole new scent you might enjoy.

Scents:
Strawberry
Moringa
Coconut
Mango
Shea
Satsuma
Pink Grapefruit
Vanilla

It features Community Fair Trade organic alcohol from sugarcane from supplier, the CADO co-operative in Ecuador.

Available in store and on line March 2013

The Body Shop: New! Lip glosses ~ Review

I have always been a lip balm and lipstick kind of girl.  I was once very fond of lip glosses until a certain brand discontinued their colour and I never went back - until today.  These will change me back into a lip gloss crazed fan.

The Body Shop has launched 11 new delicious lip glosses (12ml, $10 each) that might create a new addiction where you will want the whole collection.  They are high glossy sheer shades that are non-sticky and light weight.  The new formula in the lip glosses are enhanced with vitamin E and B5.

11 shades:
Cocoa
Coconut
Lychee
Mango
Mint
Peach
Pink Grapefruit
Plum
Raspberry
Strawberry
Watermelon

When you have these many shades made it was so difficult to choose which one to start with...(ok, maybe I knew which one to start.)  I went straight for the coconut and immediately fell in love.  Then I tried the mango, lychee, cocoa, and plum - they are all just as good as the coconut.  I love the scent.  I made me think of summer weather and cocktail drinks I should be holding.  As an experiment, I combined the mango and lychee (both my favourite fruit to each during the summer) and just made my lips more glossy and the smell is divine.  Yup, it is so much fun mixing them up to see what fruit salad you might like to have for this summer.

The virgin coconut oil comes from the Community Fair Trade from Women in Business Development Initiative in Samoa.

Available in store and online February 2013
