Yves Rocher: Tahitian Monoi Collection ~ #Review

"Me mind on fire...Me soul on fire...Feeling hot, hot, hot
Party people - All around me feeling hot, hot, hot."
Yes, summer is here and today is hot, hot, hot...more like boiling hot....
Summer season is approaching, it is time for new sweet scents.
Let me introduce you to Yves Rocher's Monoi de Tahiti collection.

Raise your hands if you have heard of Tahitian Monoi...OK, for those who do not know, let me give you some background.  Monoi means "scented oil" in Polynesian.  Monoi is obtained by mecerating 100 fresh demanding Tiare flowers in 1L of coconut oil.  For 10+ years, Yves Rocher has the privilege to use Tahitian Monoi that is AOC certified.

I had the opportunity to try a few products in this collection.

Traditional Gardenia Oil - Precious Dry Oil - Perfumed Body Mist

Traditional Tiare Oil (100ml, $18, Sale $9) has a wonderful light scent.  It really does remind me of fresh cut sweet flowers.  This is a multi-purpose oil that is great from head to toe.  I could apply it on my body where I can protect my skin from dryness and leaves it hydrated.  I could use it as a treatment before shampooing leaving my hair silky smooth.  I love how it absorbs very quickly and making my hands non greasy.

Precious Dry Oil (100 ml, $22, sale $13) is must needed for this summer.  I love how the dry oil feels on my skin leaving the shimmer to illuminate me from head to toe.  The texture is very much like the Traditional Tiare Oil where it has a great scent and how the oil absorbs very quickly and making my hands non greasy.

Lagoon Moiturizing Perfumed Body Mist ($125ml, $16, sale $9) also has a wonderful light sweet scent that reminds me of vanilla.  It contains organic aloe vera so it will moisturize the body when you spray it on your body.  I think this is a fun scent for this summer.  I could wear this at a beach party sipping cocktails or just lounging around by the pool.

These products are available in all Yves Rocher stores, online, or by catalogue at 1-800-361-2746.

  13. I'm glad to hear that they aren't greasy which I must admit was my fear. Sounds like the aromas are well liked so that's a good sign.
