Vichy's NEW! Nutriextra Extraordinary Oil ~ #Review

I love products that can multi-task, it saves space and time.  As a mother of two it feels like I am always racing against time.  I also have this very narrow space in my room to hold my cosmetics and skin care so saving space is also a bonus for me.

If you are like me, I have dry hair and hands regardless of the weather.  It is not as bad as the winter but it is still uncomfortable.  I'm so glad that Vichy introduces their first extraordinary oil Nutriextra that can bring relief to my dry body and hair.  It could also be used for the face too but my face gets oily easily so I wont be putting this on my face.  But everywhere else is fine.

This golden elixir is made from 9 precious plant oils - muscat rose hip oil, joboba oil, almond & apricot oil, macadamia oil, passion fruit kernel, blackcurrant seed oil, rice bran oil, sunflower oil, and coriander oil.  The texture is like the massaging oil the messieurs use and it has a slight nutty scent - might be from almond or sunflower oil.   I love how it absorbes quickly giving my hands the satiny feel without the greasy feel.  I thought it was OK on my body but I absolutly love it on my hair.  My hair has been crazy dry since I dyed it a few weeks ago.  Rubbing a few sprays into my hair helped bring back its original texture.  I could use the Nutriextra Extraordinary Oil as a mask.  Wow, what a great product.  It is like I purchasing a bunch of products for the price of one.

Vichy's Nutriextra Extraordinary Oil (125ml, $29.50) is hypoallergenic, silicone free, colourant free, fragrance-free formula, and paraben-free.  Available in your local drug stores that sells Vichy products.

  1. Hello, HC. I too suffer from dry hair all year round. I have naturally curly hair which tends to be dry plus I colour my hair, too. I have been looking for a good product (oil in texture) for use with my dry hair. Thank you for this review, Happy Chinadoll.

  2. I love that you can put it on your skin and your hair. I'm totally like you in that I also have dry hands all-year-round.

  4. That's really impressing. I'm a bit perplex about oils for hair because my hair tend to be greasy after 24h of washing it, but I'm interested since you mentioned it doesn't leave a greasy feel. I'll look into it now.

    1. I only use a little bit only because I have dry hair...but give it a shot, it may or may not work for you.
