Ddrops Booster ~ Review & Giveaway

Vitamin D
It has many health benefits and could help reduce the risk of diseases like cardiovascular disease and common cancers.  It is associated with bone development and helps the body use calcium and phosphorus to build strong and healthy bones and teeth. It could help prevent bone softening, deformity, and rickets (fractures), and osteoporosis.

The major source of Vitamin D is from sunlight.  A total of 15 minutes a day would provide 10,000 IU of vitamin D on fair skinned adults but a darker skinned would requires more.  Wearing sunscreen reduces the amount of vitamin D the body will produce and the Canadian Cancer Society recommends babies not be in direct sun light.  Not wearing sunscreen causes sunburns which could lead to skin cancer and aging of the skin.  There are only a few foods that could be an alternative source of Vitamin D like salmon, shitake mushroom, and eggs.

How much does one person need?  Researcher says, contact your physician or healthcare provider and they recommend using a blood test.  Due note, taking excess Vitamin D can be harmful and could cause high levels of calcium in the bloodstream.

My family is not the type to brave the Canadian winter by staying out too long.  We rush to point A to point B all bundled up and going as quickly as possible and most of the time it is before and after the sun sets.  During the winter we are more likely to stay in doors and barely enough to catch some rays so it is most highly recommended to take some Vitamin D supplements.  This Ddrops Booster is currently only available in Canada at most drug stores retailers including Shoppers Drug Mart, Rexall, Metro, and Loblaws.  All you need is one drop on any food, drink, on a spoon, or even a back of my clean hands.  My daughter hesitated at first but noticed that it didnt have any taste so it was very easy to administer to her.  For more information on Ddrops, check out their website, don't forget to follow on Facebook and Twitter.

Ddrops would like to offer one of my readers their own Ddrops booster (5ml, 180 drops).

This contest will run from March 24th to April 12th, 2013 (midnight EST).  Winner, You have 72 hours to reply.  You must be 18+ Canadians Only.  Good Luck!
